一般財団法人川村文化振興財団では、2月23日の「富士山の日」にちなみ、静岡県出身の寺井 絢香氏による、富士山をモチーフとした絵画作品を展示いたします。
【富士山パーティー】
日本人だけでなく、世界中の多くの人々を魅了する富士山。2月23日の富士山の日には、富士山について学び、理解を深め、その美しい景観や文化を後世に引き継いでほしいと言う思いが込められているようです。
私は普段マッチ棒をモチーフに作品を作っています。今回はそんな富士山の日を私なりに楽しくお祝いしたいと言う思いから、「富士山と富士山をお祝いしに来る仲間たち」と言うイメージで作品を作りました。
自分もそのパーティーに招待された一人として、私の作品は勿論、この日本平ホテルからの素晴らしい富士山の眺めを味わって頂けたら嬉しいです。
The Kawamura Cultural Foundation will present an exhibition of paintings by Ayaka Terai, a Shizuoka-born artist, featuring works inspired by Mount Fuji, in conjunction with “Mount Fuji Day” on February 23.
【Mount Fuji Party】
Mount Fuji has long captivated not only the people of Japan but also people around the world. Mount Fuji Day, observed on February 23, is dedicated to learning about Mount Fuji, deepening our understanding of its significance, and passing on its beautiful landscape and cultural value to future generations.
In my practice, I usually create works using matchsticks as a motif. For this exhibition, inspired by Mount Fuji Day, I wanted to celebrate the occasion in my own joyful way. With the image of “Mount Fuji and the friends who have come to celebrate it,” I created this series of works.
As if you yourself were one of the invited guests to this party, I would be delighted if you could not only enjoy my artworks, but also take in the magnificent view of Mount Fuji from Nippondaira Hotel.
